Big news, amigos! District Taco will be officially opening our first Pennsylvania restaurant in the King of Prussia Town Center on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12:00pm!
The celebration for our 11th location is going to be GRANDE amigos! As a thank you to loyal fans and first time visitors, the first 100 customers in line will receive a District Taco goodie bag full of swag and prizes. Make sure you get in line early, amigos! Trust us, you’ll want one of these!
It is our tradition to give back to a local organization to celebrate each new restaurant's opening. For our King of Prussia celebration, we will be supporting Turning Points for Children, an affiliate of PHMC and a local organization that brings social and health services to vulnerable people. For more than 175 years, Turning Points for Children has served youth and families in Philadelphia. Their work is built on the foundations of wellness, safety, diversity, and collaboration. Turning Points for Children provides a continuum of care that includes programs like Family Finding, FAWN (Food and Wellness Network), Parenting Support Services, YV LifeSet, a program that benefits youth aging out of foster care, and they are the largest foster care provider in Philadelphia County. We are so happy to support the local community!
As this is our first location outside of the DC area, District Taco will also be hosting an art contest to bring a bit of Philly culture and flare into our DC restaurant vibe. What does that look like to you? We invite artists to be creative and submit a design to be featured in our new restaurant. The winner will not only have their art featured as part of our décor, but will also receive a prize package including some awesome DT perks. Rules and guidelines can be found on our website.
