District Taco, a popular fast-casual Mexican restaurant founded in the D.C. Metro area, opened its third restaurant in the state of Pennsylvania on April 5, 2021. The restaurant joins Target, TJ Maxx, and more in bustling Abington Towne Center and is the restaurant group’s 15th location overall.
The Grand Opening event was held on Monday, April 5 at 10 a.m. The widely anticipated event and following week will keep safety front-of-mind. Guests were asked to register in advance on an innovative booking site, allowing District Taco to ensure the store’s staff and guests have enough room to safely distance while enjoying exciting elements of the Grand Opening. Guests will enjoy free food, swag, and a socially-distanced fiesta!
District Taco Abington is the 15th location opened by owner-operators Osiris Hoil and Marc Wallace. Their humble beginnings as food cart owners makes this accomplishment a significant one. Hoil and Wallace always dreamed of creating jobs and benefiting the communities that welcome their restaurants with open arms.
“We are so excited to continue building restaurants and relationships throughout the Greater Philadelphia area,” said Hoil, Chief Executive Officer of the restaurant group. “We have found such incredible communities, and know Abington will be just as warm and welcoming as those near our Center City and King of Prussia locations.”
Fifteen lucky customers who joined the Grand Opening celebrations were randomly selected to receive a District Taco swag bag along with a gift card for future purchases, to commemorate the opening of the 15th location. District Taco urges guests to register early to reserve their spot in line and have a chance to win the goodie bag and gift card.
