District Taco Riverdale Park is open for business! Yesterday's Grand Opening event was a huge success! More than 100 people lined up to join in the festivities and receive FREE District Taco almuerzo! This is our 12th location and we’re on a roll!
We are so happy to finally be open in Riverdale Park Station and to open our first restaurant in the state of Maryland. Along with Whole Foods, Starbucks, MOD Pizza, and the University of Maryland, we are so excited to join the Prince George's Community! Special thanks to County Council, Chair, Dannielle Glaros for joining our Opening Day celebration!
Additionally, each visitor who came through contributed to a great, local cause! A portion of yesterday's sales were donated to Extraordinary Birthdays! Extraordinary Birthdays recognizes the transformative power of birthday celebrations for homeless children, one that empowers their caregivers, and inspires moments of joy and happiness in the lives of homeless families. Along with other programs that they offer, the organization has thrown more than 400 birthday parties and currently partners with eight homeless shelters in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
All this week, December 12th- 19th, we are offering a discount for University of Maryland students. Bring your student ID and you will receive 25% off your meal! With free WIFI and delicious food, what more could you want while studying for finals before the winter break? We will see you there!
